What It's Like To Work Here

Bri Owen (Hanson) began attending the Boys & Girls Club in Twin Falls when she was six years old. Bri attended the Club after school and during the summer months well into her pre-teen years. When she was 16, Bri applied to work at the Club as a Program Staff. She spent the remainder of her high school career working at the Club, and when she went off to college at the University of Idaho, Bri continued to come back to her home Club to work during the summers and over holiday breaks. In 2010, Bri became the first teen member from her local Club to win the Idaho State Youth of The Year Competition. Upon graduating from college in 2014, Bri pursued her career in education where she taught kindergarten. Two years later, an opportunity at the Club opened up and in 2016, she took over as the Director of Operations.

“It’s been so rewarding getting to experience the Club from every different angle – Club member, to Club staff, to now working on the Senior Leadership Team. There’s something truly special about this organization, and once you are part of it, it’s hard to imagine doing anything else.”
