Club Receives Lowe’s Grant

25 Oct
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Magic Valley received a $50,000 grant from Lowe’s to build a covered patio structure and fencing to provide adequate and safe outdoor space where our members will be protected from weather elements while engaged in outdoor programming and eating meals in a safe environment. The grant is part of Renovation Across the Nation; a program now in its second year, which provides one Club in all 50 states with a grant and volunteer support from Lowe’s to complete much-needed improvements and renovations. Our Club was selected as the signature Club in the state of Idaho! As the need to update facilities increases and maintenance costs rise, Lowe’s support is helping the Boys & Girls Clubs of Magic Valley-Twin Falls Unit make critical improvements to ensure the Club remains a safe and inviting place for Twin Falls youth who need them most.
“We at Lowe’s are very excited to have been able to reach out and help the BGCMV in such a big way. The BGCMV provides so much to our community and this will be huge for both the Club and the kids.”
—Lance Hoover, Lowe’s Store Manager
On October 20, 2017 the Club held a ribbon cutting for Lowe’s and their employees with over 40 people in attendance from the community to thank them for their donation.  After the celebration Lowe’s supplied wooden craft projects and their employee’s helped Club members assemble them.
Again a big thank you to Lowe’s and their employee’s for their donation of this wonderful addition to our Club.
