Being a part of this teen community enables teens to take ownership and accountability for their lives, relationships, and communities.

In order to help young people meet the workforce challenges of tomorrow, they need safe spaces, positive mentorship and work experiences today. At Boys & Girls Clubs, we allow kids and teens to:

    • Explore their interests and passions
    • Develop their employability skills

      ACTIV8

      Ages 11 - 12

      Foundation for the Future

At Activ8, we are passionate about teaching our members to create a foundation for good decision-making. Their futures are being written and it's our job to help them write the best story possible. We focus on healthy relationships, responsibility, service, leadership, and community.

      Education & Preparation

At Activ8, we empower kids to create and develop their gifts and abilities. By providing hands-on training, educational field trips, team-building games, and self-knowledge, we enable our members to achieve their goals both individually and as a group. We prioritize our efforts to give back to the community by participating in local service projects and events.

      ELEV8

      Ages 13 - 18

      Safety, Security, and Consistency

At Elev8, our volunteers and mentors prioritize their weekly commitment to Elev8 in order to promote long-lasting, healthy relationships with Elev8 members. We partner with similar organizations in our area to ensure the teens, as well as the organizations, experience continuity and support in their relationships with one another.  Every week, the teens know they can come to Elev8 and get a warm meal, socialize with peers and mentors, and learn and engage in life skill development.

      Empowerment & Elevation

At Elev8, we create opportunities for our members to get a close-up look at what kind of life they can create for themselves. We introduce them to job shadowing, resume building, college preparation and personal budgets – all to help prepare them for their best possible future. All of this, while having fun, hanging out with old friends, and making new ones!

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Magic Valley, we strive to provide a safe place for all adolescents, while empowering them with the confidence to pursue their own potential.  Being a part of this teen community enables teens to take ownership and accountability for their lives, relationships, and communities.
